I am Ameer Salaam, Coordinator for the Cincinnati Islamic Community Center's Speakers Bureau. This educational component of CICC was established, to help promote and give a balanced presentation of the religion of Al-Islam, while at the same time, heightening religious literacy and mutual respect. We believe our site presentations and interfaith dialogues with churches, synagogues, and other bas community organizations, will support a developing culture of mutual understanding, res respect and cooperation.

One of our primary goals is to build bridges with other faiths and people of good will. Be assured, our presentations will promote interreligious understanding, tolerance and meaningful dialogue.

Further, we provide an invaluable service to spiritual institutions by supplementing there study of Al-Islam with a language that can be easily understood, in a logical and practical format. Another key element and underlying objective of the CICC Speaker’s Bureau is to give all who will listen a fundamental understanding of the beliefs and practices of their Muslim American neighbors.

Our history as a community has seen us work with many groups and individuals. Among them, MARCC (Metropolitan Area Religious Coalition), Catholic Diocese of Greater Cincinnati, the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance, and a recent Muslim / Christian Dialogue Series held at Tabernacle Bible Church.

We look forward to hearing from you, to arrange a site presentation and begin interreligious dialogue, as we seek to strengthen our common ground in service to humanity.

Respectfully,

Ameer Salaam

Speakers Bureau Coordinator
